VPN - Preshared Key not working

Hi,

I have configured a Windows 2003 VPN server. I have enabled the option
"Allow custom IPSec policy for L2TP connection". configured a preshred key.

But the VPN clients from windows xp can connect to my VPN server without
preshared key.

How to enforce the VPN clients should match the preshared key. ??

Please help me on this

Looks like your clients doesn't use l2tp to connect, but use PPTP. In
properties of your VPN server disable PPTP protocol and leave only l2tp.

What are you using? Routing and remote access? Or ISA server?
