VPN PPTP error 800

hello people

For a long time i want to build a L2TP VPN but i didnt make worked yet..
BUT the PPTP VPN is very easy to build but now i have a error message:

"ERREUR 800: impossible d'établir la connection VPN.Le server VPN est
peut-être inaccessible ou des paramétres de sécuriter sont incorrectement
configuré pour cette connexion.. "
meaning
error 800 could connect to VPN connection. the server is may-be unvailable
or security paramétre are wrong...

laptop-> WEB -> gateway-> serveur 2003

so we cannot more simple

i have remove the firewall from the laptop
i have maded a DMZ from gateway to the server
in win 2003 server i have also remove the firewall

but it still dont work WHY !?

we dont care about the CA in a PPTP VPN connection no ?

PLEASE help me..

SO ! i have find why i've got the error 800

That the fault to a wrong DNSlink (than to that fuc. soft (dynsite) (if you
know a likely soft tell us)


THE NEXT EPISODE

now i can connect (PPTP) so i remove on the gateway the DMZ how go to the
server and i create some's port forwarding


IP security IKE UPD 500
ip security IKE UDP 4500
VPN L2TP UDP 1701
VPN PPTP TCP 1723

like that the vpn data can go to the server BUT now when i try to connect i
stay on "i'm checking logon+password" and after ~1min he quit and give me a
nicely error 720 !!

did i have forget some's port ?(i think because in DMZ mode that Work !
pour laisser passé le flux VPN vers le server mais là probléme je vois qu'il
recherche le nom d'utilisateur et mot de passe et aprés 1Min il se bloque et
me sort une erreur 720 !!

aurais-je oublier de forwarder un port ?

Error 720: No PPP control protocols configured.

Resolution:
1) make sure both RAS server and client have the correct protocol setup.
