hello,
Have slack as a router with NAT; I know how to enable possibility of
having VPN connection.. but only for one host with static IP address.
There is one public IP on eth0, and dhcp with NAT-ed IPs on eth1.
There are several clients which may connect to eth1 (different
computers, unexpected MACs, no any IP reservation for any MAC - I meat
that IP obtained by any client may be different tomorrow than today.
I need to give to all the clients possibility to establish VPN
connection with remote servers (different, not always same); question
if of course how to do that?
Currently I have cisco 1721 with NAT and there is such a possibility
when I am connected through cisco. When I am connected through a linux
(using win2000 computer), I can establish VPN connection.. but
randomly. Sometimes with firts try, sometimes I have to try for hours;
how to make it work?
best regards
Tomasz

[Providing VPN for several clients]

What kind of VPN have you deployed? I guess PPTP or IPSec?
May be you need the VPN Masquerade Patch. If yes have a look to:
http://www.impsec.org/linux/masquerade/ip_masq_vpn.html

Ciao, Horst
