Server is Windows 2003, current SP & updates. Connection is T1. NAT is
running on a Netopia 4622 router. All firewalls have been turned off. I've
configured the router to pass PPPT traffic (port 1723 & GRE protocol) from
the server's public to private ip address. I'm using a static pool of
private addresses - no DHCP.
As a test, VPN works from within LAN using private 192 address.
IF I try to VPN into the servers public address (inside or out) , I get 721
and/or 619 errors. BUT, if I cancel before it goes to redial and alternate
between an admin and user accounts for authentication, the VPN will usually
connect on the 3rd or 4th try.
Any ideas????
