Hello,
after a complete reinstallation of a windows 2003 SBS server i get always a
error 733 (TCP/IP CP reported error 733: Your computer and the remove
computer could not agree on PPP control protocols), after I successfully
passed the authentification and the server asked for a callback.

I checked the following properties for vpn connection already:
-Client & Server are using the MS-CHAP v2 & MS-CHAP Protocol
-VPN-Type is PPTP-VPn on both sides
-The IP adresse is assigned from a static pool defined in RAS server
-My Router does not cause this problem, i still have it, when i try to
connect through local network with the ISA server not running

I have no more ideas what could cause the problem, but i would be grateful
for any hint to solve this problem.

Thanks,
Chris

Hi,
it took my same hours for further investigation and at it's end it seems
like that the virtual network adapters from the VMWare Server caused the
problem. After deinstalling the VMWare Server VPN is running quite good...

Thanks again for your time and sending me the links,
Chris
