VPN Connection via ICS

My workplace hosts a VPN and I have the following query :-

1. My laptop operates correctly on the VPN when connected directly to the
phone line and my Freeserve dial-up account.

2. When I access the VPN via ICS (with my home PC acting as the server
connected to the same Freeserve account), I am able to connect to the VPN
and have my password validated but I cannot access the MS Exchange Server to
retrieve email or view shared files on the network.

3. The above ICS setup works perfectly for all other internet accessed
activities.

The 2 PCs have different domain names allocated, is this a problem ?

Any ideas ?

Thanks
