Dear Friends,
I have configured VPN on Windows 2003 server. Users are
able to successfuly connect to the server through
internet. Users use VPN connectivity to access the e-
journals which are subscribed on say IEEE server,
uchicagio.edu etc. Access to these servers (IEEE etc) is
possible only when the packets are sent from our network
address. After establishing connection to VPN I am not
able to access the journals on IEEE server. Packets are
automatically taking the gateway of the internet service
provider instead of VPN gateway. Pl guide me to overcome
this problem. I have enabled client system to use default
gateway on remote host.

Regards,
Raghavan.

Go into the advanced tcp/ip properties of the VPN client and
take the check mark out of "Use default gateway on VPN connection".
