I connect to my office network using VPN client server
which will not work with the MN-700 base station. It
works hard wired to the router but not in wireless mode.

I can connect my vpn (Sonicwall GlobalVPN client) through the wireless, but
throughput drops by at least a factor of 10 connected wirelessly compared to
the same computer wired to the MN700. Maybe the wireless latency is
bordering on too high for the vpn? I haven't tried any other wireless access
point or card to see if it's better.

I'm experiencing the same problem and looking for a better
solution. The best I've been able to do is to configure
the DMZ setting to match the I/P of the the client that is
connecting. This requires reconfiguring the DMZ IP
address every time you switch clients. This setting can
be found under security. Also, I've noticed that at time
I must disable then reenable DMZ to get it to take the new
setting. There must be a bettery way!

No it is the same router. VPN works if hardwired by
plugging cable into one of the router ports but not in
wireless mode.

Please give Product Support a call and log this issue. They may or may
not have a fix for you, but they will collect info on what VPN client
you are using, etc. as there are others with VPN issues.
