Hi, All:

I configured Windows XP Pro as a VPN Server (PPTP) at home and tried to
use my laptop which has Windows95/NT on it to remote access the VPN
server.

I did a google search and found out all of VPN clients using Dial-Up
connection.

Is there any VPN client out there for wireless connection?

Actually, they aren't limited to dialup at all. they will operate over
whatever connection is established when you connect. I use the MS PPTP
client over ethernet and wireless all the time. Generally, the pptp setup
just asks for an IP or FQDN to connect to and uses the physical link that's
active when you launch.

xp has its own pptp server and client which is over eithernet, it may look
like a dialup but it's not.
you can find it in new connections/advanced.

i am using openvpn over wireless, but very hard to configure, you need to
edit configure file.
if u need more secure, you probably need to know how to use openssl, there's
no document for openvpn but there's some howto and faq.

I use Avaya wireless card in my laptop with Windows95
and its internet connection runs flawlessly.

I also setup MS PPTP via

Network Neighborhood --> click on Properties -->

click on Configuration --> click on "Add" button, then double-click on the

"Adapter" line. -->

Select "Microsoft" --> add "Virtual Private Networking Adapter"

--> create a new dial-up phonebook entry --> enter PPTP IP addr

Did I miss anything here?
