Hello
I am setting up a vpn for remote access to a windows 2000 domain. I am using a cisco pix 515E version 6.3(3) as the connection that users will vpn to. I have been able to establish a vpn to the pix ok but now I need to figure out how to get users logged on to the windows domain so they have the correct network access. It looks like the best choice is TACACS+??
Does anyone with a similar setup have advice about where my next steps should be

Thanks

Joe

Joe,

RADIUS will do this as well. You can set the PIX as a RADIUS client to the Windows 2000 or 2003 Domain Controller running Internet Authentication Server
(IAS) and this will allow you to authenticate users against AD.
