VPN provides a "connection" at the TCP/IP level only.
VPN does not provide a "naming mechanism".
Netbios Naming requires the use of WINS in the Dialup Connectiod TCP/IP
specs.
FQDNs require the use of DNS in the Dialup Connectiod TCP/IP specs.
