VPN Assigned IP Question

When I VPN to another network, as I understand, their DHCP will assign
my VPN session with an IP address that is local to their network.

Say my local IP is 192.168.1.101
I VPN to a server, their local network uses 10.10.10.50 - ...150
I remote desktop to a computer on their network, say 10.10.10.102

From within the remote desktop session on the 10.10.10.102 computer,
can I access my 192.168.1.101 fireshare (specifically, the CD drive
which is fully shared). Me simplying going to file explorer and typing
\\192.168.1.101 does not work, how can I discover the IP which their
DHCP assins my VPN session from my local/original client?

In most cases, the answer is no because the LAN doesn't have router to
192.168.1.101. However, you should be able to access 192.168.1.101 computer
using the PPTP IP which is 10.10.10.x. If you have WINS or DNS for the VPN
client, you may be able to do that using the VPN client hostname.

I'll try that tonight from Home to our work network and post the
result. That sounds like it may work.
