You can get locked in with their kit even though you paid
for it and own it.
You can go to places like
www.voipfone.co.uk, or
www.voipbuster.com
and get hardware like PAP2 working with voipfone or soft phones with
voipbuster.
The cheapest at the moment rumoured to be
www.1866.com
with free calls to UK landlines and other goodies.
But the VoIP landscape is changing by the minute
with a vast shortage of inexpensive feature laden gadgets
to fill the vacuum being created for VoIP.
