Vodafone email

I am trying to communicate with a friend that users Vodafone as their ISP but
my emails to him, and indeed may others sent by a variety of contacts on a
whole range of different ISPs, are rejected [i.e. not delivered] and have a
bounce back message from the server saying that the messages originates from a
server that is responsible for sending out spam.

The actual information line reads:
(E-Mail Removed)>: host smtpas4.vodafone.es[212.166.186.195] said:

553 5.3.0 Sorry, but your email could not be delivered to the intended

recipient. Please check the following link for details:

http://www.vodafone.net/error.htm (in reply to MAIL FROM command)

Using the URL to determine the reasons leads you off on a merry go round of
subsequent web pages to read but nothing really solid to solve the 'poblem;.

The obvious solution is to chage ISPs to get out of the loop of these problems
but you know how reluctant some end users are to have a new email address so
sticking with Vodafone how would the gurus in this newsgroup solve the
problem?

Anny replies will be appreciated.

you need to know what the blacklist or logic they are using is, also
check the headers of your email to make sure sender verification would
accept it (incase they're using that). Thunderbird has a sender
verification plugin that checks incoming email and would show up if
there was a headers problem.

Your mate needs to talk to Vodafone really, as its their blocks that
are the problem.

The same message can be sent to someone else on another ISP. The email
headers of the mail don;t reveal anything uexpected:

Received: from ---- (-------.-----.--.-- [---.---.---.---])
by smtp.nildram.co.uk (Postfix) with ESMTP id AFC6E2564CD

Obviously indentifying information has been blanked out. The message
contained a small inline image, otherwise it was just plain text.

As for my outgoing mail check, I hit a brickwall with this message, using the
error link provided by Vodafone:

List of Public Black List providers who are blocking the IP Address you
entered
81.3.70.135 port-135.compila.th.newnet.co.uk listed in dnsbl.sorbs.net

So is there anything I can do as well as the agrieved Vodafone user?
