Yes, you can connect to the VPN server via router or firewall program.
However, you may need to confirm that the port for the VNC program you use
is opened between the two computers. For example, to use terminal services,
you need to open the port 3389 on the router or firewall program between
the two computers even the router of the VPN server does not block you.
This is the same as the usage of a intranet. If you enable a firewall
program or use a router on the other client computer to block the posts,
the VNC will not work.
