NLB is for balancing *Servers*,...not Nics.

No. VLANs share the same Wire,....so no performance is gained

Run one nic in each machine and run a normal LAN configuration. The DB
traffic from the web servers is not going to amount to "squat" when compared
to the speed the LAN is capable of.
Don't try to solve imaginary problems that you don't really have. If
anything, just run gigabit speed between the servers.
