Hi,

Unfortunately the messenger service does not longer exist on MS-Vista.
Microsoft decided to stop it. I'm afraid you have to try alternatives
if you need it.

Hello Thomas,

MSG.exe is included in Vista.

Best regards

Meinolf

thanks for the info

Question how do I broadcast a message to the Vista PC

Example

My windows 2003 Servers wants to send a message to all workstations on the
network

net send /domain:test this is a test message to all ws on domain test

The Vista PC (Business Edition) SP2 does not receive the message.

Any ideas

thanks

Tom
