Has anyone managed to get an Atheros chipsetted card to work under
Vista when security is enabled?

I've just bought a new laptop for my Dad, (Fujitsu Siemens Amilo
1705), which has a builtin wireless using the Atheros R5005G chipset.

I Have WPA-PSK TKIP enabled on my router (SMC2804WBRP-G, firmware V
2.08), and XPPro and W2K machines are fine. The vista machine however
cannot connect if any encryption is enabled - I get a bizarre message
about the public key exchange timing out. If I remove encryption
(yeah, right) then its fine of course.

Websearch suggests a driver issue but I've upgraded to the latest
available driver (7.3.1.25) with no luck......

Vista, the /really/ secure operating system.....
