I was wondering if your visited WAPs are recorded and saved anywhere on
your computer whether in your registry or in an internet cache or
something. I tried checking out a few spots on the web, but nothing
turned up.

Thanks

The answer is yes, you know this because if you look in the list of
preferred networks, you'll see them.

Furthermore, XP starts up and probes for those that it has visited which
makes for a nice opportunity for a nearby hacker running hotspotter to
run as a rogue AP and give you a connection and thus an attack vector.

Nice feature eh?

David.
