Virutual Server networking

What is the recommended set up for Virtual Servers. We have a host machine
that uses teaming of a dual NIC for redundancy. It seems that this causes
the MAC addresses assigned to the Virtual Servers to appear on both NICs,
confusing the networking equipment.

Do I have to 1) get rid of the the host teaming and create two virtual
network connections for the virtual servers and split them between the two
networks - this getting rid of redundancy on the VS. or 2) configure it some
way that I'm missing.

Thanks,

Based on my knowledge of Virtual Server, I'd say that you will probably
have to break the NIC team and then assign your virtual servers to the
physical NICs independently.

There was a discussion on this topic in the virtualserver newgroup
recently which you might like to look at. Apparently it depends on exactly
what NIC teaming you are using. Some work, some don't. None are supported by
Microsoft.
