Hello,

I have virtual PC installed. Guest OS is bsd, but it'not essential.
I need this two things to work:
1st - be able connect to the internet from guest OS
~ this can be achieved by set up NAT in network setting of virtual pc
2nd - be able connect to guest OS from host OS
~ this can be achieved by adding MS virtual network adapter and have the
both (virtual adapter and guest OS) NIC on the same subnet(eg. 192.168.0.x)
+ set network card settings in virtual PC to ms virtual adapter

The next thing I have tried was enable Internet Connection Sharing on my
network adapter(of course not virtual) and hope it could work....but
unfortunatelly I cant connect to internet from guest OS.

Do you have anny suggestions?

Thanks for replies

You set the VM to use the physical nic,...not the NAT Nic,...not the MSVN
adapter.

If you are using the MS Loopback Adapter, ICS on the host will work if
you set it up correctly. Set the device on the host which connects to the
Internet as the public interface and the loopback adapter as the private
interface.

Set the NIC in the vm to the loopback adapter option from the VPC
console. If the vm is set up to obtain its network config automatically it
will get the correct settings from the allocator (or mini-DHCP) in ICS. (It
should get a 192.168.0.x/24 address with 192.168.0.1 as its default gateway.
ICS will have configured the loopback adapter on the host to 192.168.0.1).
