virtual memory minimum too low

When I'm using my laptop for an hour or so i get a pop up that says windows
virtual memory minimum is too low. my laptop exits any programs or web
browsing that i am currenty doing..any way to fix this?

buy a real computer?

or maybe ask in a group that knows about whatever operating system you are
