Hello,

I'm using a Windows 2000 Adv Srvr box with one physical ethernet card.
I am trying to setup a virtual IP using the TCPIP properties and I am not
sure if I have completed all necessary steps. So far I have:

1. Original IP of ethernet card is 192.168.5.15 & is still.
2. Added a virtual IP of 192.168.5.13.
3. When I telnet to 192.168.5.15 port 25 I get a response.
4. When I telnet to 192.168.5.13 port 25 I get no response.

I have NOT restarted the server or any services.
What steps am I missing here?

Thank you.

Is your SMTP server configured to listen on just one of the IP addresses?
Check the configuration and change it if necessary to All (Undefined) if you
want it to listen on both.
