Hi gurus,
I have three webservers running on one redhat system using virtual
network interfaces (1 net card, 3 IP addresses). One of the web
servers uses proxypass to pass requests for a tomcat service to a
second machine inside a firewall. It works fine, except the requests
can appear to come from any one of the three virtual machines. This
means that I need three firewall holes open to pass requests for just
the one service.
Is there any way of controlling which of the three virtual machines
requests come from? Likewise is there any way of restricting other
outgoing services (i.e. ssh) to ensure they appear to come from
one machine only?
