Entirely out of the blue I got a phone call from Virgin this afternoon.
Judging by the crappy phone line I thought it was from India, but the nice lady
assured me she was actually calling from Manila IIRC.
Now, she said it was about customer feedback - LOL ! She appeared to know about
the packages I had but not about the 'deals' I'm *supposed* to be receiving, so
I had a good man about how utterly useless the billing department is and how
the bill is never right, only £19.95 out this month on services plus the £10
late payment fee for not paying "-£40.98" on time so a £30 error overall,
slightly higher than average in fact.
Then she tried to interest me in broadband. LOL ! I said I'd already tried it
and it was rubbish. She wanted to know why, so I explained I know my stuff, work
in electronics, been using the Internet for over 10 yrs etc and that Virgin
simply don't have enough capacity for the numbers of customers they have and
that they're reknowned as a poor ISP. The poor lass seeemd quite taken aback but
did say she'd pass on my concerns.
