I found them to be utterly rubbish - worse than NTL, Bulldog and
Plusnet combined (I know hot to pick 'em, eh?)

Really, I can't express strongly enough how if they were the only
supplier of broadband in the world, and it were free, I'd use dial up.

Plus you can get free Virgin broadband if you take out a Virgin mobile
contract from £15/month.

Been with Virgin since Dial-up, then Broadband, 1Mb, 2MB and now MaxADSL.
Absolutely NO complaints. Only used email support twice in all that time,
prompt reply, correct info, problem sorted.
Used Telephone support once, UK call centre, problem with email sorted
immediately.
Family members use them as well.
I recommend them, not the cheapest but have worked flawlessly for me.

I've been using them for just over a year now and no major complaints.

Their up to 1mb service has a 3GB cap. Their up to 8mb service at £17.99 has a 6GB cap and their £24.99 up to 8mb is "unlimited."

I completely second this. I have also been with them since dial up and all
further upgrades since (about 4 years). Am now on Max (approx 5MB). I've
always used Plan 1 at £24.99/month, which on the whole has been uncapped.
There was a short period when they introduced a 20gig cap, but that has now
been removed.

I can wholeheartedly recommend them. My folks have recently swapped to
Virgin and are also happy.

Well what do you expect as they are resellers of NTL & indeed NTL are
buying the name from Mr Bransom in the near future.
