It uses Samknows for the information, and it never lists higher than
7MB.
And the main thing it doesn't do is list ADSL2+ which is a lot faster
than ADSL.
It's inaccurate and misleading.

I won't mention about how they now run fibre further than the green box
to your door now.

Just gave me a 7.5MB ADSL which is only .5MB out, I'm almost next door
to the exchange.

I'm approximately 0 metres from the exchange
I live in the exchange, and it says I can get 6.5Mb.
As it is I get 18Mb on BE, but if I did live in the exchange I'd get
24Mb.

If they were asked whether they knew that this comparison doesn't
include LLU/ADSL2+ exchanges, they'd say yes.
If they were told, did you know that there's probly as many exchanges
that are LLU/ADSL2+ available as there is cable, they'd say yes.
If they were asked, are you deceiving the general public again by
knowing these facts, they'd probly say yes.

I've said many times that these people who think up these marketing
ploys know what they are doing.
They know they are misleading the public.

It tells me the maximum speed I can get is 6Mb with ADSL, which might
well be true. However, I'm on ADSL2+ with Sky and have over 12Mbs so
they are telling the truth, just not the whole truth.
