"Anger at terrapin firework launch
---------------------------

The RSPCA has called for an internet advert to be pulled after a
terrapin was taped to a firework rocket and fired into a garden on
Bonfire Night.

The creature, thought to be a female, was found by a dog in Wrexham with
a cracked shell and a bleeding mouth.

The animal charity claimed there was an "obvious" connection with a
Virgin Media Broadband advert of a cartoon tortoise being launched into
space. "

Apparently VM are also responsible for 9/11, the Iraq War and countless
other outrages.

At least there's some benefit from that poor terrapin sufferin like
that.
The ISPs that are faster can log a complaint about the false claims made
by Virgin Media.

Maybe the use of a terrapin was meant to illustrate how slow their internet
service runs ? Sure it wasn't a tortoise actually ?

have a go at VM about.

As for the looney bin....you should know if they come from there....if they
had you would have met them all before wouldn't you.

VM needs to be got at by every means possable when they show a little
consideration for their customers instead of just considering them as
a meal ticket, when VM shows real consideration for its customers then
perhaps its customers will stop having ago at them .
VM have got two farly high ranking mambers of staff who post to these
groups that have been proved to be liers which again isn't showing the
company in a good light .

It's not only their customers that are treated like this.
There's loads of posts in forums from VM staff that feel the same.
All VM staff have been told they will not be receiving an annual bonus
for 2007.

So what BT haven't given the people on the sharp end an end of year bonus
for at least 5 if not 10 years, only a derisory £10 a head for a team build
event.

Do they normally get a bonus?
AFAIK it's mainly Telewest and Virgin Mobile staff that normally get the
bonus, but won't be now with Virgin Media.
