then... )

Was sent this this mornin, from the VM support group.
How things have changed since I was there.

Hi,
M.Mclaughlin.
Welcome to the news group of hell.....
Please join the very very long que of peed off people reporting such
issues.
Sorry tech support...
I know that you are doing your best etc, but we are reading this same
pile
of pants day in and day out from various users up and down the country
on
your network!
You are most probably sick of hearing it too!!
YOU ARE AT FAULT HERE!!
YOU HAVE OVER SUBBED UBRS BEYOND CAPACITY!
YOU KNOW THAT YOU HAVE!!
YOU ADVERTISE 20 MEG.
ONE OF THE BEST IN THE COUNTRY!!
YET YOU FAIL TO DELIVER!
Why are they widening the M1 into 4 lanes etc from Luton into\out of
London??
It's because the current M1 can't cope with the volume of traffic!!
They know that there is a problem and are widening it.
UNLIKE VIRGIN!!
YOU KNOW THAT YOU HAVE A 3 LANE MOTORWAY BUT YOU CARRY PILING ON MORE
TRAFFIC.
YOU THEN INTRODUCE TRAFFIC LIGHTS AT EVERY JUNCTION ONTO THE 3 LANE
MOTORWAY HOPING IT WILL SOLVE THE PROBLEM.
JUST ADMIT IT!
YOUR NETWORK CAN'T COPE........
MONEY MONEY MONEY IS ALL VM CARE ABOUT!
SOD THE CUSTONER AT THE OTHER END WHO PAYS VM A CHUNK OF THEIR WAGES
FOR A
SERVICE.
WE'LL JUST FLANNEL THEM WITH TICKET NUMBERS AND UPDATES THAT NEVER GET
ANSWERED.

Jacked Off!

But how can this be they will not let customers have more than one
connection pr household ,I wonder how many hundreds of pounds
pr year they are throwing away each year by having this rule for
starters ? .

Must agree the company is crap from the top to the bottom yet I have
always found that the technicians who have been here on one or two
occasions have been first class.

But they have now provided us with first class technical support from
India !!!!!!!! .

Which NG was that in as I've just read a lot of them (certainly the relevant
ones that that /might/ have been posted in) and it wasn't in any of them.

Nice try.

Can't you ask someone, or don't you post about anything unless it's in a
fanboy style? )

You were right Gonz :S

I`ve moved to Sky BB and what a difference!!!

I`m currently only getting a solid 2mb, I should be getting upto 8mb but my
Sky BB isn`t due to go live until tomorrow (which apprently is why i`m
capped at 2mb)but the 2mb is full whack all the time.

I was with Virgin for 20mb, got about 14-15mb alot of the time but then it
went right downhill, Sky offered me broadband for £5 a month (their kit
isn`t in our exchange yet)..

Well pleased I moved away, just a shame as when it was NTL@10mb it was full
whack constant..

Also like to add that Virgin gave me a retention @ £16 a month for 20mb, the
following month it went back to £37!! this was suppose to be for 12
months...

I have found Virgin to be a bunch of liars when it comes to what they tell you
on the phone.
