Virgin broadband and new computer

Hi
I am changing the computer which has a ethernet port in it. I am also
going to use a new wireless modem/router. I currently have a wired
modem and an ethernet card.

The new PC will have XP Home. What is the best way to setup virgin
broaband on the new PC please?

If you are using a Router you don't want your PC('s) to connect directly to
your ISP at all. In internet options - connections set to 'never dial a
connection'

It is the router itself that needs to be told the Virgin username password
etc.

Might be worth adding (as others have previously indicated) - when using a
wireless router it is often handy to keep an ethernet cable to use for the
configuration initally and thereafter if problems on the wireless link are
found... else there's no way to be sure the router is working properly.
