My take on the subject:

Actually I find it ironic that those in the EU make this claim in online
forums everywhere.
They seem to forget ever since man chiseled in stone a history of the world,
that they have systematically raped, pillaged, tortured and murdered the
rest of the world. Often they point out the plight of the American Indian,
when in fact the Brits took over the east coast, the Spanish took from what
is now Florida across to and up the west coast and south into Central
America, and the French took Canada and south down into what is now
Louisiana. Americans of today either took or purchased it from what are now
EU members, after they stole everything that wasn't nailed down. The EU
members didn't stop with America either they systematically raped, robbed,
pillaged, tortured and murdered, Asia, Africa, Central America etc. I submit
to you all that not one Euro in the EU hasn't been stolen from someone else.
They're no Gold, Diamond, Oil or any other precious mineral deposits in the
EU except coal, yet they are among the richest nations in the world.
