VERY weird thing happening with file sharing

in summery:

i can SEE the computers in the workgroup, BUT when i click on the
computers it tells me no permission when i type in the path of the
folder that is shared ON the network it allows me access

You may want to try switching protocols like using NWlink as the protocol
instead of NetBeui.

I had a similar problem as you long ago with permission denied on
wireless setup and accessing the computers through Network Neighborhood.

You should uninstall NetBeui first before using NWlink.

Guest account is a security risk I disable on all NT based O/S(s). In
addition to that, I only use the Authenticated Users account on the
Shares.

One should try to secure the O/S as much as possible.
