Very slow performance on an intranet

I am a little new to running Win2003 server, so forgive me if this is an
obvious question. I resently set up a Win2003 server and patched it with
Service Pack 2 and all available patches. I have it set up as a web server
for some limited use installations of an ASP.NET based CMS (dotnetnuke to be
exact). I have domains set up to route through zoneedit so that I can use
domain names and automatically update my dynamic IP address. At this point,
everything works from outside the router/firewall, but the problem I am
having is accessing the sites from inside.

I have the DNS set up fine, and can actually access the sites from within
the local network, but the performance is horribly slow. It takes more than
a minute to load a page. From outside the performace is great.

I had this set up before using SP 1 and it worked fine then, so I am
naturally inclined to blame some new setting available in SP2 that I have
messed up. Does anyone have any ideas of what I could look at to track down
the problem? I'm a little perplexed at the fact that the sites run fine
from outside the local network, but are so slow from inside.

Thanks

I should add that I see a number of (Faulting application w3wp.exe, version
6.0.3790.3959, ) errors in the application event logs. It does not seem to
me that these errors coincide exactly with a request for these ASP.NET
applications from the intranet.

Hi there, I think we're having the same issue. I've spen over six
hours working on this and haven't gotten anywhere.

My Application error is:

Faulting application w3wp.exe, version 6.0.3790.3959, stamp 45d6968e,
faulting module kernel32.dll, version 5.2.3790.4062, stamp 46264680,
debug? 0, fault address 0x0000bee7.

Coinciding System error is:

A process serving application pool 'DefaultAppPool' terminated
unexpectedly. The process id was '3128'. The process exit code was
'0x800703e9'.

The only thing that changes in these errors is the PID. One of each
of these errors pop up every time I go to the website.

Help Anyone?!?!?!?

Oops... nevermind. After six hours thinking this was a server issue,
it turned out to be my code.
