Haha, sorry for the title.

Anyhow, I'm in a bit of an annoying situation here. On the 27th of
Sept, I bought a MAC code from v21 so I could move to beunlimited.

Now it's the 9th of Oct, and it's 17:06pm and no goddamn MAC code has
arrived. I called them multiple times, last week, and today. No MAC
code.

Guess what? Today I hear that v21 no longer exists! They are now been
merged with "biscit" and "biscit" are taking over, wonderful. These
guys tell me they don't have the v21 account information so I'll have
to wait, AGAIN.

And they told me they can't disconnect me from v21, with or without the
"seamless transfer" MAC switch.

Please anyone how can I get away from this stupid asshole ISP? They
won't let me escape! I paid for the code which I haven't got. I just
want to switch. How can I make it happen???

Is there some phone number I can call? Maybe some number at BT where I
can get them to disconnect me from v21??

May be you should stay?

"Biscit CEO Hugh Paterson said: "The principal changes V21 customers
will experience is greater choice in voice and superfast broadband
services, and quality customer support from Biscit's in-house London
teams instead of a call centre in India.""

Uhuh. Perhaps anyone involved in this ought to go look at the Biscit
forum on ADSLGuide. I think ceasing the line would be a better choice
than any of "Biscit's in-house London Teams".

YMMV but I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them.

A v21 rep often lurks on the www.ispreview.co.uk forums, try asking
for help there. I assume they are still responsible for support for the
moment.

I would simply contact ofcom who were very helpful with me in a
similar situation.
