USR8054 turbo AP and router support wpa?

A firmware upgrade for USR8054 is available at the USR site. Will this
support WPA?

1.17 has been there for a long time. The option for WPA is present in the
web-based configuration, as is syslog. However, syslog doesn't work (tech
support says RSN), and I don't use WPA.

Check the release date. This is not a new release.
A note in the packaging of my 8054 does promise a new release
supporting WPA, but 1.17 is the current release.

No, this is the same (original) firmware that came with the router.
I'm not too sure on when WPA access is supposed to be sorted, but I
think it relies on some bugger getting their finger out and ratifying
the WPA standard... until then no firmware for us

I send out a mail to USR, they shipped me version 1.21 (dating from
September): still no support for WPA.
I don't understand why the website hasn't been updated since !!!
