I have a USR018054 Wireless Turno Access Point & Router. The power
connector at the back is a VERY loose fit, so much so that I wonder if
the wrong plug has been fitted. I wonder if anyone else has come across
this problem?

Is that related to the USR8054? I have an 8054. My power connector seems
OK. See if you can find specs (or call USR and ask) for the diameter of the
power connector, and then measure it and compare.

Unix is user-friendly; it's just picky
about who it makes friends with.

I asked USR and they just said to take back to the retailer but it is
not possible to get back there at the moment.

Duct tape to the rescue again!
