Hi, can any help please?

I've signed up with Tesco BB using the supplied USB modem. It works fine
but I've decided to change this for a US Robotics Router.

I have installed the USR network card and the router. The router 'sees'
the network card but I'm having trouble setting up the ISP details. I
have V2.01 Easyconfigurator but I can't see how to enter the Tesco DNS
details. I though I'd download Easyconfigurator 2.37 from their website
but despite several downloads, the file is corrupt (bad zip file) and
it's 47MB!

I've sent an email to USR about the broken file but, they haven't
responded. Can anyone suggest how to resolve this dilemma?

Cheers,
Simon

Why don't you use the web interface?

Point your browser at 192.168.1.1 and enter admin as the username and
password.

Thanks for the reply Phil. I think I'm missing something here... I
obviously don't understand. When I start Easyconfigurator, enter as
Admin + Password, the application reports No Connection. Are you saying
that at this point I start the browser and enter the address you have
given above to get connected?

Thanks,
Simon

No, you don't need EasyConfigurator. Just go to 198.162.1.1 in your web
browser and when prompted for a username and password, enter admin for
both. That will get you into the web-based configuration of the router.
The whole idea of a web based configuration is that any system with a web
browser can configure the router, not just Windows.
