Hi,

I own a USR 808054 Wireless Router since some months and it gives me full
satisfaction.

In order to stay up to date with some applications and to use fully the
properties of this device I upgraded the firmware to v1.21h.
I downloaded the firmware .bin file from this site
http://www.usr-emea.com/support/s-pr...bene&prod=8054
and I followed the flash procedure from A to Z as noticed on the .txt file
included in the .zip file.

Once flashed, the router rebooted but now the router seems to be dead.
It doesn't stop rebooting and I cannot connect to it anymore by using the
192.168.123.254 IP address.

Can you please tell me what to do to repair it ?
Is it something I can do myself ?
Is it possible to re-enter into the configuration pages ?
Must I send it back to the support center ?

Thank you to reply.

Regards.

Andre

It seems that my new IP address to access the router is 169.254.40.233.
If I enter this address in the internet explorer, I see a login/password
window.

If I enter "admin" as login and no password, this window comes back up to 3
times and I can't go further.

Is it something I can do to go further ?
A tool ?

Thanks for your help.

Sincerely,

Andre

Addresses in the 169.254.x.y subnet are assigned by Microsoft Operating
Systems to DHCP clients that are unable to obtain an address from a DHCP
server. Are you saying that this is the address of the router or that this
is the address of your Windows system? What leads you to think that this is
the router's address?
