Hi List

I'm helping my father in law with his ADSL installation. He's gone to
Freeserve BB because he was already with them but bought a wireless router
because he wants to share the BB connection with both pc's in his house.

In spite of the crap Freeserve service I have managed to set up the dlink
604 wireless router that freeserve say they do not support. I've set DCHP
up and used the correct encapsulation (or at least what Freeserve told me to
use) and the dlink web interface tells me I am connected but I can't see and
web pages and when I try to ping the IP addy the router says I am using I
get "request timed out"

Any idea what I am doing wrong? Freeserve are supposed to have connected my
father in law yesterday. Is it possible they haven't done it?

Sean
