Using Wireless modem for a game console.

Hi,I have a qestion for the right person that knows about wireless broadband
modems that plug into USB slot.Well i have a Playstation3 and i want to
connect it to the internet.But im thinking of buying wireless broadband
modems that Plugs into USB slot,So how can i set that kind of modem up so i
Can use it on the laptop computer as well as my game console? Note:The
console has a inbilt Access point.Thanks for help.
