Yes, I could upgrade the 98 machines, but would prefer to keep them going
for a litle while longer.
Another way of tackling this would be as you say to use a 3rd party client,
I'll look into that - have you any recommendations?
Another method I've been told about but not used is a dedicated vpn router
that stays open all the time connected to the other LAN, and the users then
don't notice anything different, thye just have access to what they need.
