Using powersave mode with iwconfig ?

Hi ,

Was just wondering , if there is a way to use the power save feature
for wireless cards in conjunction with the adhoc mode ? or is it only
available through managed mode ?

Also , could someone please give pointers to any documents to how ioctl
works especially with regards to its interaction with wireless cards ?
