Using NAT to be DHCP. Client getting wrong IP.

I have setup Windows 2003 NAT for client to access internet. There's
no DC in the environment, and only workgroup. I use NAT to be the
DHCP. Client can then get IP from NAT server. Client can access
internet without problem. However, IP received by client is not in
the range of the static pool.

This is my setting:
static pool in RRAS: 192.168.2.200 ~ 204
In the NAT/Firewall property, I have enable the DHCP and using IP
192.168.2.0
and mask 255.255.255.0

I am assuming with this setting, client should get IP from
192.168.2.200~204, but instead, client is getting IP randomly from
192.168.2.0.

Any help is appreciated.

The static pool in RRAS defines what IP addresses are assigned to RRAS
clients(dialup or vpn). The IP range of the DHCP service of NAT is
configured on the Address Assignment tab of the NAT properties.

Danny:
Since NAT's build-in dhcp function does not give you the lease pool
like a real DHCP would, is there a way find out what are the IPs been
assigned by the NAT dhcp to clients? I am trying to find out the IP
for each clients.
Tks,
eric
