Using Multiple network cards

I have 2 network cards in one of my servers and my manager wants to
split the traffic across them. He wants one card to only handle
inbound traffic and the other to handle only outbound traffic. Can
anyone point me to some documentation on how to do this?

I would do NIC teaming for the balance and redundancy.

No that is not possible. Maybe he has been watching too much Star Trek :-)

There is "Nic Teaming", as Robert mentioned,...but it does not separate
traffic the way he is asking,...it simply balances the flow evenly across
the two nics.
