Hi, I have a wireless router in my house, have a
laptop that lets me surf from the garage. My laptop
has an ethernet port also, how can I hook a switch or
hub to it so the systems in my garage can also reach
the net? Or do I need a wireless switch out there?

Thanks!

if its windows the laptop could use internet connection sharing to
share on its ethernet port.

I did the converse with my laptop plugged into a hotel broadband line
sharing via its wireless card.
