I'm just wondering if you can setup the base station(mn-
700)using the software that came with the package for just
networking up some computers. So we can play a few games.,
and not have internet access. I don't want to hook up to
the internet.

Yep. Set it to Access Point mode on the config page (goto security>access
mode).
