Hi,
Looking at my syslog, I noticed that during boot (only), my Mandriva
2006+Shorewall firewall PC tries 3 times (few seconds apart) to establish
above connection which was declined by the firewall.

The respective syslog entry is:
Apr 19 06:05:10 Atlantis kernel: Shorewall:net2allROP:IN=eth0 OUT= MAC=
SRC=10.0.0.1 DST=224.0.0.251 LEN=105 TOS=0x00 PREC=0x00 TTL=255 ID=8 DF
PROTO=UDP SPT=5353 DPT=5353 LEN=85

/eyc/service didn't show any usage for that port.
I tried to ping 224.0.0.251 but didn't get a response.

Has anybody a clue what's going on?

TIA

Michael Badt
