I'm trying to set up a local user on domain member server thats got Windows
Server 2003 Standard Edition. Its to be used for a Windows service that I
want to run on this system.

The naming convention that I want to use on the username means that their
will be in excess of 20 characters in the username. That seems to cause a
problem in W2K3 as it seems to cap at 20. I'm not using WINS and its not
being accessed by any legacy Windows 2000 systems.

Is there a workaround?

Regards,
Steve.
