In trying to share a directory on a Win98 workstation in
an NT4 domain, Clicking 'Add User' button produces
error "Users list not available. Try again later" and
listbox is empty. I've tried from more than one machine
with same result so suspect problem may be on NT4 box but
don't know where to start looking. How does NT4 supply
available users list? Also, attempting to add
a remote administrator in Control Panel 'Passwords' applet
produces a similar (not identical) error message. Use of
the workstations and interaction with server for file
sharing & printing does not appear to be affected.
Any suggestions?
