When selecting user level access in the network/access
control tab, it asks to fill in blank based on the
request, "Obtain list of users and groups from:"

What description goes in this blank? I tried the name of
the computer, the work group.

Thanks,
Ken

You'd need a computer running a server operating system (Windows NT
Server, Windows 2000 Server, Windows Server 2003) to keep the list of
users and groups. User-level access control isn't available in a
peer-to-peer network with Windows 95/98/Me/XP.

The name of the computer providing the security to your network. It
seems you don't have one. It needs to be winnt, 2k, xp or a unix box
running samba.
